School has started again for me and its back to the normal life of sitting in a classroom all day. Fortunately this is the LAST semester of book-work in vet school at least, though there is still plenty to learn in the future on clinics (which start in May!!). Then just one more year of clinics, which includes 10 weeks of vacation, national boards, 3 externships, and lots of rotations in the teaching hospital. Whew! I'll be glad when that's over.
Matt's still working in QC at Fidelity and we're still praying that this becomes his permanent position, but he will at least be able to return to his old position in April if it doesn't become permanent :) We're certainly thankful for that!
Looking to the future --> we are moving in with our good friend Kristin in early March, I take finals in May, I get just a few days off and then clinical orientation goes on for a few days. After that I have a VERY front-loaded rotation schedule on clinics but then it eases off quite a bit and I take a long stent of vacation through November and December (both to study for and take my national boards, then to relax for a couple weeks!) Then graduation will come eventually on May 13, 2011, and take State Boards the next week... then the wedding!! :) The date that we'll become Dr. and Mr. Fisher is June 4, 2011 and I can't wait until I start my forever with my best friend. I think we are truly blessed.
Well... it's almost time for Matt to come home and I have homework to do, dinner to make, and a nap to take :) not necessarily in that order! Will update the next chance I get!
